Cookie Policy

This policy applies to all pages accessed through the Mizan web application. Pars Smart (destek@parssmart.com) acts as data controller.

Cookies are small text files saved to your device through your browser when you visit a website. In addition to cookies, Mizan uses local storage technologies that serve the same function, such as localStorage and IndexedDB.

Every record stored on your device by Mizan is first-party; that is, it is created and read only by Mizan. No record is used for advertising, profiling or third-party tracking. Fonts are served from our own servers. The sole exception is the optional analytics described below, which runs only with your explicit consent.

These records are technically required for the application to work as you have requested, and may be used without explicit consent under KVKK art. 5/2. This category includes: your language preference, your theme preference (theme), your company tax ID and costing method setting (localStorage), the invoices you upload and your product matches (IndexedDB), and the service worker cache that enables offline use.

Mizan uses optional analytics to understand which pages are viewed and how quickly they load. This measurement is cookieless: no identifier is written to your device and you are not tracked between visits. Only the page viewed, the referring address, general technical information such as country, operating system and browser, and page load performance are sent anonymously; your IP address is not stored. None of the invoices you upload, the tax IDs, company names, products or amounts they contain, or your calculation results are included — that data never leaves your browser at all. The measurement is carried out through a technology provider whose servers may be located outside Turkey; anonymous measurement data may therefore be transferred abroad under applicable law, and only if you give explicit consent. If you decline, the measurement script is never loaded, no data is sent or transferred, and no application feature is affected.

You can change your analytics choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. You can permanently delete all data held on your device with the "Clear data" button in the Settings step. You can also clear local storage from your browser settings; doing so deletes the invoices you uploaded and your settings as well.

Under KVKK art. 11 you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information if it is, to learn the purpose of processing, to request correction or erasure, and to claim compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing. This Cookie Policy may be updated in line with changes in legislation or in the application. The current version is always published on this page; the date at the top shows the last update.
