Privacy Policy

Mizan is a cost of goods sold (COGS) and stock cost calculator that runs entirely in your browser. This policy explains in plain language what that means for your data.
What we do not collect
The e-invoice XML files you upload and everything they contain — tax IDs, company names, product names, quantities and amounts — are processed entirely on your device. These files are never sent to any server, are never seen by us, and are never stored anywhere. The Excel report you generate is also produced in your browser and downloaded straight to your device.

What is stored, and where
Your invoices, product matches and settings are kept only in your own browser (IndexedDB and localStorage) — never on a server. This is what lets your work survive closing the page. See the Cookie Policy for a full inventory. You can delete this data permanently at any time with the "Clear data" button in the Settings step.
Server access logs
As with any web service, the reverse proxy in front of Mizan keeps short-lived technical access logs (IP address, requested path, timestamp, user agent) for security and abuse prevention. These logs cannot be linked to your invoice content, because that content never reaches the server.
Legal basis
Security logging is carried out on the legitimate interest ground under KVKK art. 5/2-f (GDPR art. 6(1)(f) for EU visitors), to keep the service available and free from abuse.
Sharing and international transfer
We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties for marketing. Since your invoice content never leaves your browser, no domestic or international transfer takes place for that content. Only under the optional analytics that runs with your explicit consent, anonymous page-view and performance data may be transferred to a technology provider whose servers may be located abroad in order to deliver the service. See the Cookie Policy for details.
Your rights (KVKK art. 11)
Under KVKK art. 11 you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information if it is, to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly, to request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate, to request erasure or destruction, and to claim compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing. You can send requests to destek@parssmart.com.
Note for EU/EEA visitors
Where GDPR applies, arts. 15–21 lead to the same practical outcome: because Mizan processes your invoice content locally, we hold no record of it to retain, disclose or erase on your behalf.
